I absolutely adore this spa. First, as soon as you walk in it’s absolutely beautiful, and you are treated like a queen. Besides that, the rooms that you’re in when they are performing these amazing massages are absolutely gorgeous, they even have a little bathroom with a shower. I have been to a couple other spas, but nothing is like this one.

Amy started as a solopreneur massage establishment in 2004. The business continued to grow over the years. Amy decided to expand and offer a wider variety of services. Amy’s Day Spa opened in October 2010 as a Full Service Day Spa offering skin care, massage, nail care, salon services, waxing, & body treatments. The spa is committed to using organic & natural products free of harmful toxins & chemicals. All products used are available to take home from the spa boutique. We are proud to use Eminence Skin Care, Farm House Fresh, Pure Fiji, and Organic Bath & Body products in all services.
The spa boutique offers Voluspa and TAO candles, unique handmade jewelry, bath bombs, bath salts, Yoga Balm, and herbal heat wraps. Each season we create new services to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
In 2022, Amy decided to rebrand the spa as TAO Wellness Med Spa to add aesthetic medical services to the menu. She recently received a Bachelor’s in Nursing and plans to obtain her Nurse Practitioner license. TAO Wellness Med Spa offers a monthly membership to make it more affordable to continue your wellness journey on a regular monthly basis.

Amy Hathcox
Amy started as a solopreneur massage establishment in 2004. The business continued to grow over the years, and Amy decided to expand and offer a wider variety of services. Amy’s Day Spa opened in October 2010 as a full-service day spa. In 2022, Amy rebranded the spa as TAO Wellness Med Spa to integrate aesthetic medical services into the menu. Amy has since graduated from Nurse Practitioner school and now provides neurotoxins, dermal fillers, and medical weight-loss treatments. These additions allow TAO Wellness Med Spa to offer a truly comprehensive approach to beauty, health, and wellness.
The spa proudly uses Eminence Organic Skin Care, Skinceuticals, FarmHouse Fresh, Pure Fiji, and Organic Bath & Body products in all services. The spa boutique also offers a variety of unique handmade jewelry, bath bombs, bath salts and scrubs, massage balms, and herbal heat wraps. We are also proud to offer TAO candles, which are chemical-free, hand-poured, and made in-house to ensure the highest quality and purity. Each season, we introduce new services and products to keep the menu fresh, modern, and exciting.
TAO Wellness Med Spa also offers a monthly membership program to make consistent self-care and long-term wellness more accessible. Our goal is to ensure every guest receives the personal attention they deserve-leaving rejuvenated, relaxed, and refreshed.

Joseph Castellano, MD
Dr. Joseph Castellano is a native Floridian where he grew up in the Tampa Bay area. After attending Jesuit High School, he attended the University of Florida where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry in 2000, graduating with honors.
He received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of South Florida in 2005. During medical school he received clinical honors In Surgery, and received the Watson Clinic Award for best research by a medical student.
From 2005 to 2007, Dr. Joseph Castellano completed his first two years of General Surgery residency at the University of Florida, Shands Hospital. From 2007-2010, he completed his residency training in General Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina.
During medical school and his 5 years of training in General Surgery, Dr. Castellano developed a strong interest in Cosmetic Surgery. He followed his residency training with an elective year of specialized training with the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.From 2010-2011, he completed a fellowship in Indiana focused entirely of cosmetic surgery of the face and body. During his fellowship, he received specialized training in facial rejuvenation, breast augmentation, abdominoplasty, and body contouring. Dr. Castellano received his board certification from the American Board of Surgery in 2010, and is also board certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery.
Dr. Castellano has now returned home and has opened a new practice in Tampa, Florida focusing on breast augmentation, abdominoplasty, liposuction, facelift, and eyelid rejuvenation. Additionally, he operates on numerous skin cancers, scar revisions, spider veins, and specializes in the management of aging skin with chemical peels and laser resurfacing.
Dr. Castellano is actively involved in research for the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He is currently a member of the following organizations:
