Ideal candidates for dermal fillers will be in good overall health with no underlying medical conditions. In addition, you should be a non-smoker and have realistic goals in mind. In order to maintain optimal results, you want to commit to a healthy skincare routine.

Patients with active skin infections, uncontrolled autoimmune disorders, or allergies to filler ingredients may not be eligible. Fillers are also not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Your safety is our priority, and we will review all contraindications with you before proceeding.

Your filler treatment begins with a detailed consultation to discuss your goals and assess your facial structure. Once a treatment plan is in place:

1. The targeted areas are cleaned and, if needed, numbed with a topical anesthetic.
2. Fillers are carefully injected using fine needles or cannulas.
3. Your injector may gently massage the area to ensure even distribution.
4. The treatment typically takes 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the areas addressed.

You’ll see immediate results, with full effects visible once any mild swelling subsides.

In most cases, dermal filler injections do not require anesthetic and are very well-tolerated. Many compare the injections to something like a standard vaccine. If you are sensitive to the injections, we will administer a topical anesthetic.

After your dermal filler treatment, you can experience some slight swelling, but you will also be able to see your results immediately after your treatment. Filler longevity depends on the type used, the treatment area, and how your body metabolizes the product. On average:

• Lip fillers: 6–9 months
• Cheek/chin fillers: 12–24 months
• Nasolabial folds: 9–18 months

Maintenance treatments are recommended to preserve results.

There is little to no downtime. Most patients return to normal activities the same day. You may have mild swelling, tenderness, or redness at the injection sites for 24–72 hours. We recommend avoiding strenuous activity, alcohol, and heavy sun exposure for at least 24 hours post-treatment.

Dermal fillers, when administered by a professional, are a safe treatment option. The primary substance in our premium selection of FDA approved fillers is hyaluronic acid, a substance found naturally in the body, so allergic reactions are rare. However, as with all medical procedures, there are potential risks. These can include:
